the 2007 craftsman truck series championship

(to the song “have a nice day” by bon jovi)

sprague and ben-son sling-shot kva-pil at the line

er-ik darnell won a race for the first time

mus-grave was suspended af-ter mil-wau-kee

(brad) kes-elowski’s loss sure was a trav-is-ty

at phoe-nix, an-dy lal-ly took down the pit road wall

da-vid green is back, boy, watch his truck haul!

oh, mike skin-ner had a great sea-son

he racked up six straight poles

but some bad luck re-duced his point lead, then

alongside grand-pa pulled

in the last nine races

lead changed seven times

then when skinner lost a wheel, changed just two tires

the two thou-sand sev-en cham-pi-on was named:

ron horn-a-day

ron horn-a-day-ay-ay

three-wide talladega, but no one caught todd

set-zer won mans-field’s mar-a-thon, poor craw-ford lost

ben-son won at bris-tol, row-dy spun the six

(mc)-cum-bee spun his tires, mus-grave won tex-as

mike bliss a-bout had phoenix, row-dy was too strong

mark mar-tin was spun out back at cal-i-for-nia

oh, mike skin-ner had a great sea-son

five times in vict’ry lane

but at tall-a-dega, too bad what happ-ened

a loose hood was to blame

in the last nine races

lead changed sev-en times

then when skinner lost a wheel, changed just two tires

the two thou-sand sev-en cham-pi-on was named:

ron horn-a-day

ron horn-a-day-ay-ay—

(instrumental)

oh

oh, mike skin-ner had a great sea-son

he racked up six straight poles

but some bad luck re-duced his point lead, then

alongside grand-pa pulled

in the last nine races

lead changed seven times

then when skinner lost a wheel, changed just two tires

the two thou-sand sev-en cham-pi-on was named:

ron horn-a-day

ron horn-a-day-ay-ay

when the laps at home-stead did then wind down

ben-son took that lead, the wall row-dy found

the day—hey! was horn-a-day-ay-ay’s!

ron horn-a-day!
