the 2007 nextel all-star challenge at lowe's

watch petree keep the lead

‘cause knaus can’t catch him

to kick off all-star weekend

edwards was on the pole

for this year’s nextel open

but what happened?

with three laps to go (watch that truex close)

two chevys got by

so now “bootie” barker, he’s

goin’ make the event

thanks to his third-straight second

in four segment blocks

there were not many pit stops

and not much action

and then when johnson could not make a run

kevin harvick won

(instrumental)

herman got the last spot

the only one who

talked over all of those drums

kenseth was on - the pole

his car the exact same hue

as the track’s walls and cautions

kenseth got away ($75K)

kyle busch did, too

mears, labonte, and denny

wrecked, then the crowd cheered

when kyle and kurt hit the fence

in four segment blocks

there were not many pit stops

and not much action

and then when johnson could not make a run—

but, wait, kenseth came off-pit-road

way too fast, now gordon’s on the-front-row

but his car is way too slow

and his left-rear blew out

harvick was in first (million-dollar purse)

johnson drove up high

but humpy’s pick wouldn’t stick

and, in the end, lost

so through the four segment blocks

there were not many pit stops

and not much action

and then when johnson could not make a run

kevin harvick won
