stormy texas friday - no one qualified

sunday, the big ol' sun was bright, and jeff gordon led 'em to the line

barely finished lap one

when ragan squeezed yeley high

checkin' up, casey mears spun with

the two cars in the mix

'n watched that ricky rudd car fly!

a third weekend sweep? no, not quite

kenseth's right-rear didn't feel right

matt's ford led at the white, but acid reflux kicked in

fifteen laps, he raced side-by-side

with jeff burton's prilosec ride

twelve guys, jeff through tony, each had one texas cup win

and now jeff has won there yet again!

jimmie johnson dropped a cylinder

and hit tony in the door

montoya'd made an ill-timed swerve

pit room, his crew needs more

then when stewart got his car back out

it was a "hunk of junk"

three-sixty, great car control, that is no doubt

kyle busch lined up a punt

and hit junior 'tween the taillights

no one could believe the strange sight

the fox crew says he's like buddy baker's young lost twin

his backup's seat was way too tight

so he quit the racetrack outright

junior's contract's not signed so the busch car he climbed in

to get that one spot up on johnson

well, the caution's out, kurt busch is angry now

mark martin is such a sneak

gordon's chevy's hittin' walls and now
