Tuesday, July 25, 2006 the 2006 pennsylvania five hundred at pocono  (to the song "remember the alamo" by donovan)in june, you remember, i wrote of in this very style a new first-time winner who overcame several trials. now six weeks later, i’ll write the same story about that same chesterfield guy but leave out the part about an infield slide! heads up, it’s that chevy the one from the bud shootout show! who thought that twice from the front row denny hamlin’d win pocono?  clint bowyer was drivin’, then clipped stewart runnin’ up high smoke next waved his hand, he turned left and bowyer did slide. poor carl edwards got wrecked and was trying to find out what blurred stewart’s mind, but carl got the finger and smoke got a spin in reply! (but) heads up, it’s that chevy the one from the bud shootout show! who thought that twice from the front row denny hamlin’d win pocono? a tough last-place finish was all that the fates would allow the frustrated earnhardt who’s out of the chase, ‘least for now. kurt was stuck once again trying to catch the eleven off three and mike ford decided which car he’ll bring next to indy: "hey, let’s use that chevy the one from the bud shootout show the one which twice from the front row gave our team wins at pocono!" denny hamlin swept pocono!
